We love Facebook pages, and recommend it to all our clients as part of their marketing efforts. They are easy to setup, can be customized with a cover photo and a profile photo (usually the business logo) to extend the branding of the business.
One of the goals of having a Facebook page for your business is getting people on Facebook to engage with your business.
Recently Facebook added a new feature, Call-to-Action buttons, to help Facebook pages drive business objectives.
It’s designed to bring your business’s most important objective to the forefront of your Facebook presence. You are able to link your call-to-action buttons to any destination on or off Facebook that relates to your business’s goal.
You can select from a group of call-to-action buttons – like “Contact Us” or “Shop Now” – to add to the top of your Facebook page. The seven options available now are:
- Book Now
- Contact Us
- Use App
- Play Game
- Shop Now
- Watch Video
To add a call-to-action button to your Facebook page:
- Go to your Page’s cover photo and click “Create Call-to-Action” (you have to be the Page admin).
- Choose your call to action and the destination URL that you want to link to.
- Click Create.
Once you’ve created the call-to-action button, you can track the number of people who have clicked on the button.
Comment below if you have added this to your Facebook page and include the link.
